Melody, Eddie, Liza and Howie constantly are getting new teachers and coaches at Bailey School. In Cupid Doesn’t Flip Hamburgers, the new cook in the cafeteria does everything with hearts and love. When students start getting googly-eyed after eating different things, students wonder if maybe she is really Cupid in disguise.

Bailey School Kids Skeletons Don’t Play Tubas is a book about Eddie, Melody, Liza, and Howie at a grave yard. They see a guy and he chases them to Bailey City Elementary. Then they find out that he is their band teacher. They go to class and then they go to band class. Liza thought she saw a skeleton foot move. The next day Eddie sat in Liza’s spot. He did not see anything. That night they went back to school. They heard music, so they went to the bandroom. They saw Claude the skeleton holding a tuba, so they ran. They saw something chasing them. They found out it was the principal, so they went home. At the performance the principal was playing the tuba.
