Boxcar Children

The original Boxcar Children book is one of my all-time favorites. It’s a story about four orphan children who are on their own trying to hide from their “mean” grandfather. They find an old boxcar in the woods and make it into their home. Everything is great until Violet gets sick and they need the help of Dr. Moore. What happens next will be something you need to read to find out.

All of the Box Car Children books are good but The Woodshed Mystery is my favorite! In this book the Aldan children help their great aunt named Jane move into the house she was born in. They later find an old woodshed where somebody was living. So one of the sisters read a book about the Revolutionary War and find out about where people would hide. They also find out that there are stories about the house that their aunt Jane moved into.
