The best Katie Kazoo Switcheroo is about Katie’s Christmas. In the first ( out of three) part of the book, she is going to the mall to get her presents wrapped by a person at the department store. She is waiting in line, but then accidently blurps out,”Why do we wrap presents? On Christmas Day, all we do is just throw them away!” Everybody in the store considered, and said,” Yeah! We should just keep them unwrapped!” And after that, they just went away, and the wrapper didn’t any business from then on! When Katie went to the other side of the mall, alone, suddenly, the magic wind came! She was turned into the wrapper! There was a few people waiting to get their presents wrapped, and Katie had a hard time doing the job! There was a vacuum, a doll not in a box, and other hard-to-wrap presents! What was she going to do? She had chunks of paper on each person’s presents, and they said,” I could do that better myself!” Then, her boss came out. He started yelling because they had no more paper, or tape! After that, she went down into the storage area, because she was sad. Because she was alone, the magic wind came back. She was back to Katie, and the present wrapper was back to herself. Katie went back to that store, and the present wrapper tried to get her out. Then, she had a perfect idea! If she could talk the present wrapper into coming with her, she would be able to get her to find newspaper, and wrap the presents with that!
