Series of Unfortunate Events are great books. One book I like is called The Bad Beginning. It is about three children named Violet (the oldest one), Klaus(the second oldest), and Sunny(the littlest) Baudelaire. Their parents die in a big fire and their friend Mr. Poe takes them to their relatives. In this book the relative is Count Olaf. He is a very mean guy and plans to steal the Baudelaire fortune which is a big fortune that the parents left over. Will Count Olaf ever get it? You have to read the book to find out.
I love Series of Unfortunate Events books. One of my favorite is called The Reptile Room. It is about the three Baudelaire orphans going to the country and their new guardian’s name is Dr. Montgomery. He is planning to take the orphans with him to Peru. His assistant’s name is Stephano but he is acting like Count Olaf. Is he really Count Olaf? You have to read the book to find out.
Series of Unfortunate Events are great books. One book I like is called The Wide Window. It is about the three orphans going to live with thier relative Aunt Josphine. They meet a guy that calls himself Captain Sham at the grocery store. The orphans think he is Count Olaf. Are the orphans right? You have to read the book to find out.
The Series of Unfortunate Events are wonderful and marvelous books. My favorite is the Eratz Elevator. The kids’ new guardians live on Dark Ave. in the penthouse apartment. Once Violet, Klaus, and Sunny arrive there, they see why they named the street Dark Ave. It’s because big trees are blocking out the sunlight! When the kids walk inside, they find out the elevator is out and the penthouse apartment is either 48 stories up or 84! So, the Boudelaires have to climb the stairs all the way up. Once they arrive in their new home, they learn that one of their new guardians care about what was In and Out, and right now dark was In. In the end of the book, one of their new guardians ends up siding with Count Olaf! Find out who it is and read the series.
The best books I’ve ever read are Series of Unfortunate Events. One good book is called The Miserable Mill. Their new guardian’s name is Mr.Sir and they can’t see him. He’s smoking cigars and the smoke is covering his face. It is about the orphans going to a place called Paltryville. They work and live at a place named Lucky Smells Lumbermill. They make logs and scrap them. The foremen breaks Klaus’s glasses two times and a guy named Charles (Mr.Sir’s partner) takes him to an eye doctor. The doctor’s name is is Dr. Georgina Orwell. Her receptionist’s name is Shirley but is he or she in cahoots with Dr.Orwell? Klaus is not remembering anything when he comes back. Is Shirley Count Olaf and is Klaus getting hypnotized? You have to read this amazing book to find out.
The bad beginning is the best book ever! This book tells how the Baudelaire orphans find out their parents died and left a huge fortune. They also find out that they have to live with an evil realitive named Count Olaf whom they don’t even know until they move in. The best part is when Count Olaf tries to steal their fortune.
The Bad Beginning is a book about three kids who find out their parents died and are forced to live with an evil man named Count Olaf. He finds out that the Baudelaire children’s parents have left behind a huge fortune and tries to marry Violet, the oldest.
All three orphans have hobbies. Sunny, the youngest loves to bite things. Klaus, the middle child loves to read. Violet, the oldest likes to invent things.
During the middle of this book the three children have to use their hobbies just to become safe.
In the Miserable Mill Violet, Klaus, and little Sunny have to work in a mill. They have to cut logs into wood and then stamp them and they have to eat is gum. But it gets worse, because Klaus gets tripped and accidently ruins his glasses. So, he has to get new ones. But, he ends up getting into danger because Count Olaf is disguised as a woman who works in the office.
If you like good and creepy stories, Series of Unfortunate Events are books for you. One of the books is called The Wide Window. It is about Violet, Klaus and Sunny living with thier new guardian Aunt Josephine. They live on a house that is held up by large metal poles. When the orphans go to thier house Aunt Josephine tells them not to use the door knob because she is afraid the door will bust down. The kids eat cold food every day because Aunt Josphine never turns on the oven. She also is afraid to use the phone because she thinks there is going to be a shortage of electricity. One stormy day they go to the grocery store and meet a man that calls him Captain Sham. The orphans think he is Count Olaf. Then one night tragedy happend. Aunt Josephine wrote a note that said that she jumped out the wide window. Klaus finds a clue in the note. It has a lot of mistakes and Aunt Josephine never makes mistakes. The clue is Curdled Cave and the note says that Captian Sham will be thier new gaurdian. Will the orphans stop Captian Sham an his schemes? You better pick up this book today and find out!
I have only read the first two books in the series and would love to have the time to read more of them! They are wonderfully written and very descriptive. Not your average book, but that is what makes them so entertaining!
The Miserable Mill is the best book in the series. The Baudelaire orphans have to work in a mill and only get to eat gum. During the middle of the book Klaus gets tripped and has to go to the doctor’s office to buy new glasses. But little does he know that a disguised Count Olaf is working there.
In the Wide Window the orphans, Violet, Klaus, and little Sunny have to live with their Aunt Josephine who is afraid of everything. She is afraid that doorknobs will explode and fall to tiny itty-bitty pieces. In the middle of this book Count Olaf comes in disguised as a captain named Captain Sham. He winds-up scaring their aunt and makes her run away. When the orphans run away to get help the only way to get help is by a boat. So they have to sail a boat in a stormy day.
The Series Of Unfortunate Events is exciting! My favorite book is The Carniverous Carnival. In this book, the Baudelaires are in the trunk of Count Olaf’s car.The car takes them to a carnival. Even if the Baudelaires are not found, it is risky. Dressing up as freaks, the orphans have to perform terrible acts, like eating corn and attacking the crowd. But when Count Oalf brings lions to the carnival, can the Baudelaires orphans keep their disguise? One of the freaks will be thrown to the lions! The Baudelaires plan to escape, but Count Olaf has other ideas. When the orphans pretend to join Olaf’s crew, they fall back down a mountain!
I have recently read number 9 in a Series of Unfortunate Events. It is called “the Carnivorous Carnival” It all starts dreadful, as normal, they are in Count Olaf’s trunk (read book 8 to find out how)and they finally come to a stop. As soon as Count Olaf and his evil companions have left into Madame Lulu’s fortune telling tent, Claus, the brave little Sunny, and Violet escape and put on costumes to look like freaks. They live in the house of freaks so Count Olaf will think they are part of the abandoned circus, (only a few people come because all the rides are broken, the animals are few, and not to mention, they are located in the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE!) Okay, so Count Olaf finds out that they are the freaks, and he holds a special appearance where all of the freaks are thrown into the lion pit to be devoured. But, the clever Baudelaires escape from that and run away with Madame Lulu (read book to learn how she goes from evil to nice) and they use old roller coaster parts to make a machine that they can ride in, soon Madame Lulu is eaten by the lions, of course because of Count Olaf (read for more info) and so the Baudalaires go by themselves, following Count Olaf and his theater group, in hope it will lead them some where peaceful (yeah right!) Count Olaf also kidnapps Sunny at the end of the book so in the 9th book she is kidnapped and does not return until further books, anyway so Sunny is kidnapped and that leaves Violet and Claus to get her back (I left out some, and most of the info for you to read and find out yourselves) this book is like all the others, dramatic, scary, and full of those cool inventions, weird thoughts, and of course the mystery of that evil looking eye, so read this book. I RECOMMEND IT!

I am reading the Series of Unfortunate Events books, #9, The Carnivorous Carnival. So far, it’s about the 3 Baudelaire children. They happen to be in the evil villian, Count Olaf’s, trunk in the beginning of the book. As it goes on, it turns out that the Baudelaires are soon to find out that they have to live in a caravan for freaks of the carnival. There are three other freaks, a man that has a hump in the middle, between his shoulder and his back. Another one is a lady that can bend into all kinds of shapes. Last, but not least, the other man can write anything with both hands. As the story goes on, it turns out that the evil Count Olaf knows that they are just “dressing up” like freaks, which means in a short way to say it, he know that they are there. As far as I have gone, Count Olaf turns out to bring home some lions that are hungry for dinner. Olaf says that, since “freaks” are no use in life, that’s what he is going to feed the lions. The freaks.
Read on to find out the rest of the story!
