As I have often repeated in class, your notes do not need to be nearly as detailed as mine, but for the first chapter section I want your notes to mirror the ones that I&#8217;m providing for you here on this blog. Remember, at the end of each unit I will be collecting your readings notes and grading them based on effort &#8211; so please, put some time and care into your work. And finally, just in case you have already misplaced the worksheet explaining how I want the notes for this class done, I have also included that file on this blog. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The final major assignment for the year will require to work in groups that will require students to review the vast amounts of world history that we have covered in this past school year and apply that knowledge to a thoughtful forecast of the future.  The assignment you will be working on was created by Eugene Stanton, who is an AP World History instructor at Poolesville High School.  The instructions for this assignment are located at </p>

<p>In general, the assignment will be the same for my classes with a couple of changes.  Instead of looking ahead about a quarter of a century, you will need to forecast the general trends/developments for the next 100 years.  Scoring will be the same (Yes, this project will be worth 500 points &#8211; or 5 test grades).  Any additional questions you may have regarding this assignment can be posted here and I will try to answer them as quickly as possible.</p>
<p><strong>REMINDER NOTICE: </strong><em>Prior to analyzing current issues and making your forecasts of the future, each group needs to determine what have been the greatest issues (in general) over each of the eras. In this case, the 5 themes of world history should be your best guide.</em></p>
