Hello, Young Scholars! This is a strange week but one that carries a lot of weight.
Monday: You will received your list of words for Unit 11. You will received a print-out explaining what your research paper on your presidential candidate must include. Use the checklist to direct you towards success! You will have some short time to meet with others in your class who are championing the same candidate to share research and ideas.
Tuesday: L-A-T-E Start Day, due to AIMS Testing. Your sample graph is due for approval. Remember: this is a graph or chart that shows some kind of measurement regarding the issues and your candidate. You are to bring a hard copy for my approval. When you get the “okay,” you’ll embed your chart in your paper in a fashion similar to the political cartoon in your sample essay document.
Wednesday: L-A-T-E-R Start Day, due to AIMS Testing. A short time in class to discuss your paper.
Thursday: Your OS and Word Lists for Unit 11 due. Your draft Works Cited page due for approval.
Friday: This is the day! You will submit everything on your coral/salmon/pink grapefruit paper and attach it to your final draft of your essay. And perhaps we will engage in a debate???test Filed under English 1 Honors | Comments (12)
